Terms of sale
Last updated: 30 September 2026.
This English version is provided for convenience. The French version prevails, and French law governs the contract.
1. Scope
These terms govern sales made on https://yanntouanen.com between Yann Touanen, sole trader, trading as Oxyoze (the Seller), and any person placing an order (the Customer). Full contact details are in the legal notice.
2. Products
- Audio software (plug-ins), delivered as a download and a licence key.
- Music production lessons, booked online by time slot.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros and are net of tax: the Seller is not liable for VAT under article 293 B of the French tax code, so no VAT is charged and none is recoverable by the Customer.
The price that applies is the one displayed when the order is validated.
4. Order and payment
An order is firm once payment has been received. Payments are handled by Stripe; no card data ever passes through this site.
5. Delivery
Delivery of software is immediate: the licence key and the download link are shown on screen after payment and sent by email. The key can be retrieved at any time from the customer area.
6. Licence
The purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software. Ownership is not transferred.
- The licence allows use on the number of computers stated on the product page. A seat can be freed at any time.
- The licence has no time limit for the version purchased.
- Sharing, reselling, renting or publishing the key or the installer is prohibited.
- A licence may be revoked after a refund or in case of manifest misuse.
7. Free trial
Each plug-in can be tried free for the period stated on its product page, with no account and no card, in the same build as the licensed version. The trial is recorded per device. When it ends, the plug-in stops producing sound until a licence is activated.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumers normally have fourteen days to withdraw without giving a reason.
For downloaded digital content, French consumer law removes that right once supply has begun with the customer's prior express consent and their express acknowledgement that the right is lost. Before paying, the Customer ticks a box to that effect; the consent is timestamped and kept.
Without such consent, the ordinary fourteen-day right applies. The free trial exists so the software can be evaluated before buying.
For lessons, if performance starts at the Customer's express request before the fourteen days have elapsed, the Customer remains liable for the part already performed.
To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to contact@yanntouanen.com. Refunds are issued within fourteen days, by the original payment method.
9. Refunds
Beyond the right of withdrawal, the Seller refunds any order that could not be delivered, or whose product has a defect the Seller cannot fix. Refunding a plug-in revokes its licence. Requests go to contact@yanntouanen.com and are answered within five working days.
10. Legal guarantees
The Seller remains bound by the French statutory guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, which apply for two years from delivery and are enforced free of charge.
11. Updates
Corrective updates to the purchased version are provided at no extra cost for the period stated on the product page. The plug-in checks for updates at most once a day and only informs the Customer; nothing is installed without their action.
12. Liability
The Seller is not liable for damage arising from use that does not follow the documentation, from incompatibility with hardware or software not announced as compatible, or from the Customer failing to back up their projects.
13. Data
See the privacy policy.
14. Complaints and mediation
Complaints go to contact@yanntouanen.com. Consumers may then refer the dispute free of charge to a French consumer mediator, whose details are given on request, after first trying to resolve it directly with the Seller.
15. Governing law
French law applies. Consumers resident in another EU country keep the benefit of the mandatory provisions of their own country's law.
